Take Your Camera Off Auto Mode!

“Okello makes the class fun and understandable. I've never been to a photography class when the instructor can address knowledgable and quickly specifics about all the different cameras brought to the class. He sure knows photography!”

“I really enjoyed this DSLR workshop. I was able to truly understand more fundamentals of DSLR shooting in three hours than I have in a whole semester of photography classes. Okello definitely has a gift to teach in a very simplistic manner, easy to understand as well as follow.”

“Excellent instructor-- organized and great at simplifying complicated concepts. Excellent grasp of different brands and models of cameras. Course is highly recommended.”

“It was a fun, fantastic workshop. I knew nothing about manual shooting. He explained things in easy to understand analogies and visual examples to support his lessons. His straight forward and practical answers along with his casual style made the group laugh many times through the class.”

“It was a great class for people of all skill levels. I was impressed with his ability to make it easy for newbies and complex enough to keep the more familiar person engaged. Well worth the money spent and easy to listen to.”

“Okello is very personable and informative which made the class time go by very quickly. I am so excited to start playing around and test out the different aperture, ISO and shutter speed settings on my camera. Thank you so much for advancing my photography skills to the next level. I cannot wait to get started!!”

“Outstanding! I thought I knew something about photography, but you showed me how much I really did NOT know. I guess I need a lot more practice. Thank you for your thoughtful, knowledgeable presentation.”

“Okello Dunkley is THE man when it comes to teaching the basics of photography! My Nikon D-3100 had just been sitting for over a year because I was scared of it and didn't know how to use it. After three hours with Okello I now understand and have no fear! Okello makes it easy to understand and has a great sense of humor! Thanks Okello!!”

“Okello made it easy to take an rather expensive camera off of ‘Auto Mode' and feel comfortable using its other features (e.g. manual, aperture, ISO).. features that, honestly, I had avoided like the plague.”

“Great workshop! Okello is a great presenter. . . Informative and keeps your interest for the entire time. A very thorough introduction to the DSLR camera and and its functions. I feel like I brought away some very critical information to digital photography that will greatly enhance my photos. I would highly recommend his workshops to ‘everyone’.”

“Great class, learned a LOT. Okello was very knowledgeable with just the right amount of humor to keep it interesting. Highly recommend for those that are visual learners - his presentation shows clear examples of what the different settings will do through illustrative use of actual photos.”

“Okello is very professional, and is also a great teacher. He injects a little humor into everything, so the class remains fun and doesn't feel like a classroom setting.”
